Abtin Amir

President

Abtin Amir serves as the head of the firm and lead trial and appellate counsel. Mr. Amir specializes in early case resolutions, technical analysis, and identification of fraudulent lawsuits involving tampering, abuse, and misuse.

Mr. Amir has extensive experience in all aspects of trial work, both in and out of court, at the state and federal level, and post-trial appellate work and arbitration. One thing that sets Mr. Amir apart is his unique and invaluable automotive technical knowledge and experience with personally repairing, maintaining, modifying, and racing automobiles and motorcycles. He also has experience performing body work and painting automobiles and motorcycles, which helps him to identify when a vehicle has been in a collision and had unreported repairs. These legal and technical skills combined set him apart in the field by giving him the ability to quickly and accurately assess the strengths and weaknesses of cases, evaluate the nature and seriousness of alleged defects, and place an accurate settlement value on a case early in litigation.

Before founding the firm, Mr. Amir was a litigator at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, served as a criminal prosecutor in the appellate division of the California Department of Justice, and gained extensive trial experience independently handling jury trials for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. Mr. Amir’s appellate work has resulted in multiple favorable published opinions for his clients.
